Holiday Show Lineup Announced for Rialto Square Theatre
The Rialto Square Theatre in downtown Joliet has recently announced their 2016 and 2017 holiday show lineup. Starting on Friday, September 9, tickets will go on sale.
Listed events include the Teddy Bear Tea, where you can “create a memory that will last forever.” This holiday brunch includes a visit from St. Nick and each child in attendance will receive a Teddy Bear to take home.
“A Christmas Carol” was also included in the Holiday lineup. The classic tale from Charles Dickens is brought to life in theater. As one of the most recognized holiday stories of all time, this show was adapted to be suitable for all ages so it won’t be too scary for younger audiences.
Other shows and events include: Von Heidecke’s Chicago Festival Ballet – “The Nutcracker”, “Shake, Sparkle & Stir”, Downtown Holiday Lunch Break, “It’s A Wonderful Life” – Live Radio Broadcast and “Away in a Basement” – A Church Ladies Christmas.
To purchase tickets you can visit the Rialto Square Theatre website and get your tickets through Ticketmaster. You can also visit the Rialto Box Office during business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased over the phone by calling 815-726-6600 during open Box Office hours. A $4.75 handling fee per ticket applies over phone.
