New York City, New York- Today the rapper Desiigner was arrested for allegedly pointing a gun at another motorist following a roadway altercation. Sidney Royel Selby aka Desiigner was arrested at W. 42nd St & Eighth Ave in the Midtown neighborhood of New York City. The altercation between the “Timmy Turner” artist and the unnamed motorist began after Desiigner allegedly flicked a lit cigarette at the motorist and then waved a gun and sped off. The motorist took down the license plate of the Cadillac Escalade Desiigner and his five friends were travelling in and then proceeded to call 911. The New York Police Department made the stop at W. 42nd St and Third Ave. During the course of the traffic stop officers found the gun in question along with OxyContin and other drugs. Desiigner was charged with firearm charges, menacing and possession with the intent to distribute. The four other people in the car were charged but those charges are not known to the press at the time of writing.
