Join the Seventh Annual Witches Night Out

The seventh annual Witches Night Out will take place next month, October 20, at the Jacob Henry Mansion. This yearly fundraiser is an event for women “who want to make a difference in another woman’s life.”

Join this event in costume to help fund-raise for several social service agencies that help women and children in need of help across the Will County area. Last year, net proceeds were $39,000 and were donated to Guardian Angel Community Services, Companions Journeying Together – Aunt Mary’s Storybook Hour, Lamb’s Fold Women’s Center and Stepping Stones Treatment and Recovery Center.

This year, the fundraiser will include a costume contest, raffles, a craft bazaar, grand door prizes, tarot card readings and music from local DJs. Food and drink, including adult beverages, will be available for purchase at this event. Costumes, especially witch ones, are highly encouraged.

The Witches Night Out will take place at the National Historic Landmark Jacob Henry Mansion and Estate at 20 S. Eastern Ave in Joliet. It will be on Tuesday, October 20 from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance online. Carpooling is encouraged as parking is limited. This event is not recommended for children and teenagers.
