The Roman Catholic Diocese of Joliet

For this week’s story, I am going to inform you all of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Joliet. Located on Weber Road in Crest Hill, The Diocese is an organization that serves 655,00 parishioners in the counties of DuPage, Ford, Grundy, Iroquois, Kankakee, Kendall, and Will. There tag line reads:

“We, the Roman Catholic Church of Joliet, a people of diverse races and culture within seven counties, strive to be the Body of Christ by living the Faith, preaching the Word, building community, serving others, epically the poor, and celebrating our unity through the sacraments.”

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Joliet serves 68,000 students in a total of 68 schools per year. Not only do they work with schools, they are also heavily involved with charities around the counties. Catholic charities, Diocese of Joliet is directly related to the organization where they do charitable work in many different categories within the community.
