USF Fighting Saints to Host Spooktacular Halloween Event
The University of St Francis Fighting Saints teamed up with the United Way of Will County (UWWC). On Thursday, October 27, dress up in your most creative Halloween costume, hang out with your favorite USF athletes and head on out to the Pat Sullivan Recreation Center, 500 Wilcox Street in Joliet, for some good “spooktacular” fun while helping to raise money for the UWWC.
Starting at 1:00 p.m. there will be a haunted house on campus. Admission will be three dollars per person. All proceeds from the haunted house will go towards the UWWC. From 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. it will only be open to the USF Community. From 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. the house will be open to the Joliet community.
There will be multiple events and prizes including but not limited to: a dunking contest, 3-point basketball contest, dance contest, a haunted basement experience, apple bobbing, bounce house and much more. If you or your group is interested in joining the dance contest, please e-mail Coach Quigley prior to the event as only eight groups are available to compete in it. There will be Halloween candy and warm apple cider provided at the door.
