The Main Branch of the Joliet Public Library will be hosting a comic book workshop for children in grades four and up. This event will be featuring illustrator Dan Laib where he will help teach guests how to story tell in a compelling visual manner.
Dan Laib is “thrilled with the fact that he makes a living from two of his favorite pastimes as a child: letting his imagination run wild and drawing. Enjoying the randomness, mystery, beauty, and humor of storytelling, Dan attempts to incorporate these qualities in his illustrations. In his spare time, Dan also enjoys creating two and three dimensional fine art.” More information about Laib can be found on his website.
This event will take place at the Joliet Public Library at the Main Branch on Saturday, November 12 at 1:00 p.m.,150. N. Ottawa Street in downtown Joliet. You can register for this event online or call 815-740-2660.
