Theft in Bolingbrook

A couple towns over a Bolingbrook man was held on 10% of a $35,000 bond today, after stealing a woman's vehicle early Sunday morning. 35-year-old Sergio Arreguin-Baruch was charged with possession of an unauthorized certificate of a title and possession of a stolen vehicle.

On December 4 Baruch got into a woman's 1997 Ford F-150 on the 800 block of Francis Street. Baruch found the key in the ignition and proceeded to drive off with the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle seen Baruch get into the vehicle and immediately called the police. The police passed the stolen vehicle on the way to the scene and pulled the vehicle over.

Baruch did not resist arrest or attempt to flee the vehicle. He was arrested and held until his hearing early December 7.
