The Millionaire Man On September 25, The Morris VFW pulled the winning ticket of their Queen of Hearts game. The game that has been rolling over for a year, finally had a winner. In August, the game was shut down because of a women who was not a fan of raffles, so the city of Morris was forced to shut down the game and pass a city ordinance allowing the game to continue on. With the winning pot being over a million dollars, the city of Morris had some new guests visiting. People from all over the Midwest were driving to the small town 60 miles southwest of Chicago to buy into the game and have a chance to bring home a large payday. Each week on Monday, the Morris VFW would dra

w a ticket. On that ticket, the person writes his or her name with their phone number and then they pick a number. If they pick card 41 and they flip card 41 around and it is the Queen of Hearts, you win the prize and for Kevin Repsel, that was the number he chose and ended up winning him 1.6 million dollars. Repsel, from close by Lasalle, Illinois said that he and his wife will use the winnings to pay off their new car and buying a new house. The next Queen of Hearts game in the Morris VFW will begin sales in November, as they plan to take the next month off and regroup. The next pot will begin with the final week of ticket sales leading to the 1.6 million dollar drawing rolled over into the next pot. Officials didn't say exactly how much that is but said that, toward the end of the game, they were selling $300,000 to $400,000 in tickets per week. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-vfw-raffle-morris-queen-of-hearts-drawing-met-20170925-story.html
