Three Jefferson Street Local Businesses Host Reopening Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony’s

The Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry had several ribbon-cuttings last week.

Chicago Wingz Around the World

According the Herald News website, Chicago Wingz Around the World had its grand reopening at 5 p.m. Tuesday October 17, at 627 W. Jefferson St. in Joliet. The solid brick building off Jefferson was formerly Mrs. Gourmet Catering which catered parties like birthdays and wedding receptions. Now the building is owned by Chicago Wingz Around the world serving chicken wings and pizza.

World Kia Joliet

World KIA of Joliet hosted their grand reopening and ribbon-cutting from 6 p.m. Thursday October 19, at its 2525 W. Jefferson St. location. World Kia aims to make car-buying easy by using invoice-based pricing to eliminate haggling. According to Worldkiajoliet.com, the dealership offers Kia buyers lifetime oil changes, a lifetime warranty on all new Kia models and free lifetime car washes.

The Renwick Firm

The Renwick Firm, located at 9 E. Jefferson St. in downtown Joliet, hosted its ribbon-cutting at 11:30 a.m. Friday October 20. According to the Joliet Chamber of Commerce, The Renwick Firm is “a family law firm located in Joliet and Homewood.” The Renwick Firm’s Facebook page says they specializes in resolving complex family law matters and has services for domestic violence, child support, prenuptial agreements and more. The firm will be hosting a lunch celebration on October 26, at 5;30 p.m. at 2216 S. Michigan. Interested parties can RSVP at Luxshelley@gmail.com.
