Traditions Continues at Rialto

On December 9, the Rialto Square Theater will be hosting their annual play of It’s a Wonderful Life. This event is something unique as the performers are all associated with the local radio stations. The lead character, Mr. Potter is played by 1340 WJOL morning anchor, Scott Slocum. “I look forward to this every year, It is very special to be on stage at the Rialto”, said Slocum. Not only is the performance live, you can listen to it live on WJOL and WJOL.com. “We have been doing this for a long time now, and we really like how we have done it, the way we incorporate the commercials for the radio station and our own intermissions, it just works out very well”, said Slocum.
